Malaysia’s gold jewellery market is expected to witness a golden age, with an anticipated market size of US$4 billion by 2029.
The state of Penang plays a pivotal role in this success story, contributing over 70% of the nation’s gold jewellery production.

Chow also commended the fair’s organiser for its dedication in establishing PWGS as a beacon of excellence in the gold and jewellery sector.
He acknowledged the event’s 7th anniversary, highlighting its growing significance within the industry.
Collaboration is key to continued success
