On 18 July, MINISO launched the Eagle Leader Plan II in Malaysia, bringing together a select group of over ten Malaysian graduates from top universities worldwide.

These young professionals are set to embark on a journey that could see them rise to key positions within the company, such as national deputy general managers, national operations managers, and national merchandise managers.

The programme is designed to provide these trainees with comprehensive training over the next 1-2 years, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of global retail operations.

Participants will undergo various phases of development, including domestic operation study, overseas rotation, fixed-position practice, and an intensive management training camp.

Since its inception, the Eagle Leader Plan has already trained 36 individuals who now support MINISO’s international operations in countries like the United States, Canada, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

The second edition aims to expand this pool by recruiting and training an additional 30 global talents within the next three years.

As Bella Tu, Vice President and General Manager of MINISO Overseas Directly Operated Markets, explained, the success of MINISO rests on four foundational pillars: hard work, long-term focus, measurable outcomes, and learning from best practices.

She emphasised the importance of embedding these values in the company’s culture to sustain its growth and success.
