Roche Bobois debuts in Bangsar

Roche Bobois opens its first Malaysian showroom in Bangsar, bringing French luxury furniture and iconic designs to local homes.

Roche Bobois, the world-renowned French luxury furniture brand, has officially opened its doors in Bangsar, Malaysia. This marks the brand’s first showroom in the country, expanding its global footprint to 260 showrooms across 55 countries.

The new Bangsar showroom is a testament to Roche Bobois’ commitment to bringing its unique blend of French elegance and modern design to Malaysian homes. Spanning over 408 square meters, the showroom offers an immersive experience into the brand’s world of innovative and iconic furniture designs.

A showcase of iconic designs

The Bangsar showroom is a visual feast, featuring a curated selection of Roche Bobois’ most iconic pieces. As visitors step inside, they are greeted by the signature Bubble sofas designed by Sacha Lakic. These striking pieces, inspired by natural mineral forms, are entirely handmade in Europe and come in various luxurious fabrics, including the new Câlin fabric, known for its soft, teddy-like texture.

The showroom also houses the innovative Lift bar unit, a hexagonal masterpiece that transforms from a bar to a side table with a simple touch of a remote control, showcasing the brand’s flair for blending form and function.

French Art de Vivre in Malaysia

The interior of the showroom reflects Roche Bobois’ dedication to French art de vivre. High ceilings, large bay windows, and sleek wooden claustras create an airy and open atmosphere, while vegetal walls add a touch of natural elegance.

Among the standout pieces is the Mah Jong sofa, a design by German artist Hans Hopfer that has become synonymous with Roche Bobois. The Mah Jong’s modular design allows it to be reconfigured in multiple ways, offering versatility and style in equal measure. This piece, along with others in the showroom, exemplifies the brand’s commitment to innovation, quality, and collaboration with top designers and couture houses like Kenzō Takada and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Roche Bobois’ entrance into the Malaysian market is more than just the opening of a showroom; it signals a new era in luxury living for Malaysian homeowners. The brand’s presence in Bangsar offers local design enthusiasts a direct connection to the Parisian spirit of creativity and elegance.

With its diverse range of iconic furniture pieces, Roche Bobois is set to redefine the standards of luxury interiors in Malaysia, making French art de vivre an accessible reality for those who seek the very best in home design.
