Join Hard Rock Hotel’s Rock to Rock Run for a cause

Hard Rock Hotel Penang will host its 10th annual Rock to Rock Run on 15 June 2025, beginning at 6:00 AM.

This popular charity event aims to raise RM50,000 to support local causes while promoting community unity.

The beneficiaries of this year’s run are Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Ferringhi, which will receive funds to create an inclusive classroom for students with disabilities, and Caring Hearts Berhad, a non-profit organisation focused on educating refugee and disadvantaged children in Penang.

Engage in competitive or fun runs

Runners of all levels can participate, with two categories available:

• Competitive Run (10.2 km): RM99
• Fun Run (3.8 km): RM90

Registration is open until 28 February 2025 at Howei.com. Participants will receive an exclusive event jersey, a finisher medal, an e-certificate, and entry to a lucky draw.

For those marking the event’s milestone, a Limited Edition 10th Anniversary Tee is available as an upgrade for RM30 or an add-on for RM50.

Race packs can be collected from 13–14 June 2025, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, at Hard Rock Hotel Penang.

The event aligns with the Penang2030 vision of a family-focused state. Penang State EXCO for Youth, Sports, and Health, Daniel Gooi Zi Sen, emphasised, “This event showcases how initiatives like these can unite communities and drive positive change.”

The event is co-organised with the Penang Amateur Athletic Association and supported by the Penang State Sports Council and Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang.
