The event buzzed with VIPs. Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, Chief Secretary Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, and Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul mingled with diplomats from the UK, Türkiye, and beyond.
Earlier Anwar set the stage. “Respect and kindness are key,” he said in his 2025 Aidilfitri Address, aired live across TV stations.
“Without them, peace slips away.”
He pushed deeper. “Let’s uphold human dignity—‘karamah insaniah’—as free, noble beings,” he added. It’s a plea for integrity and duty this festive season.
Selangor’s Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari invited Muslims to continue all charitable deeds such as supporting the poor and orphans as well as the less fortunate.
Next, Melaka’s Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh hopes that the three-day public holiday in conjunction with Aidilfitri can be used by all Melaka residents in celebrating Syawal with their families.
Also, Pahang’s Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail called on the community to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, friendship, and nurture the values of love and unity.

Terengganu’s Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar went soulful. “Let us pay attention to the less fortunate, especially during this festive season including our brothers and sisters in the land of Palestine,” he said.
Kedah’s Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor reminded Kedahans who are returning home for Aidilfitri celebrations from other parts of the country to maintain safety on the roads.
Also, Negeri Sembilan’s Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun to avoid wastage in conjunction with Aidilfitri, besides inviting the public to offer prayers for the souls of those who have passed on.
Finally, Perlis’ Mohd Shukri Ramli preached balance to celebrate this festival with gratitude and moderation.
