Over 1,000 join Jameson’s epic music takeover

Jameson x Anderson .Paak Limited-Edition Bottle launches in Malaysia with a night of music, art, and culture, spotlighting rising local talents.

Irish whiskey brand Jameson officially unveiled the Jameson x Anderson .Paak Limited-Edition Bottle in Malaysia on Saturday with a high-energy Jameson Distilled Sounds (JDS) takeover of The Zhongshan Building. The launch party drew over 1,000 guests and transformed four venues — Kantata, Triptyk, The Courtyard, and its rooftop — into hubs of sound, soul, and storytelling.

The highlight of the night was the custom-designed bottle created in collaboration with Grammy-winning musician Anderson .Paak, Jameson’s global Music Distiller. This collector’s item features vivid visual motifs from .Paak’s artistic journey — including his signature drumsticks, smile, and vinyl records — alongside Irish and musical symbols such as four-leaf clovers and retro microphones.

“It was awesome to be involved in the design process, presenting different elements of my personal journey through the label artwork,” said Anderson .Paak. “It was an incredible experience to immortalize this partnership with a limited-edition bottle. I am looking forward to creating more unforgettable moments with my collaboration with Jameson!”

A bottle that sings and speaks

More than just eye-catching, the Jameson x Anderson .Paak bottle is interactive. Each unit features a QR code that leads buyers to an exclusive digital experience highlighting CLAUDIA — the first Malaysian artist to be mentored by .Paak under the Jameson Distilled Sounds programme in Ireland. Users can explore CLAUDIA’s virtual studio, play a music-themed mini-game, and gain insights into the sounds and influences that shaped her journey.

The launch night came full circle when CLAUDIA took the stage with a live performance, marking her transition from rising local artist to global representative of Malaysia’s vibrant music scene. Her presence cemented JDS as more than a campaign — it’s a movement connecting talent across borders through sound and creativity.

Get In. Sip. Win

In conjunction with the launch, Jameson Malaysia rolled out a nationwide giveaway that could see one lucky fan jetting off to a music festival of their choice anywhere in the world — excluding the Americas — worth up to RM15,000. The “Get In. Sip. Win.” contest runs from 2 May to 17 August 2025, with winners to be announced on 22 August 2025 via @jamesonmalaysia on Instagram.

The music goes on tour

The launch was only the beginning. Jameson Distilled Sounds is set to hit the road with a multi-city tour across Malaysia — from Penang to Johor — in the coming months. Titled Jameson Distilled Sounds On Tour, the campaign will spotlight emerging artists and genre-bending acts in eight cities, continuing the mission of building creative communities and celebrating Malaysia’s unique musical diversity.

On launch night, over 18 local acts — including NOTEP, Talitha Tan, Saint Kylo, Su San, Daaliah, Vanns Ngo, and Raven — brought electric energy to every floor of The Zhongshan Building. Whether it was an indie ballad at The Courtyard or a bass-heavy DJ drop on the rooftop, the showcase made one thing clear: Malaysia’s next breakout artist might have already taken the stage.
