Tiger Beer WhatsApp quiz sparks Chinese New Year reflections

Tiger Beer brings CNY reflection to WhatsApp with an interactive quiz, inviting consumers to discover their Tiger 8 Principle and share festive inspiration.

This Chinese New Year, Tiger Beer is tapping into everyday digital habits with the launch of its Tiger 8 Principle Chatbot Quiz on WhatsApp, offering consumers a festive moment of self-reflection wrapped in conversation. The chat-based quiz allows participants to discover their personalised Tiger’s Dare to Charge Forward principle, positioning the experience as both introspective and shareable during a season defined by connection.

Hosted entirely on WhatsApp, the quiz integrates seamlessly into how Malaysians already communicate during the festive period, exchanging greetings and updates with friends and family. Participants answer a short series of questions before receiving a tailored Tiger principle, alongside ratings across key life pillars such as ambition, relationships and wealth, designed to inspire how they approach the year ahead.

Social sharing meets weekly rewards

The activation extends beyond private chats into social media engagement. Participants are encouraged to share their guiding principle on Instagram or Facebook by following @tigerbeermy and tagging the brand. Until 28 February, three eligible entries will be selected weekly to receive exclusive items from the Tiger x atmos collaboration, including limited-edition apparel and the first-ever Tiger x atmos poker set.

Selected participants will be contacted and required to correctly answer a skill-based question related to Tiger Beer’s Chinese New Year 2026 campaign to qualify for the rewards. Winners will be announced weekly on Tiger Beer Malaysia’s social media channels, sustaining momentum throughout the festive period.

The chatbot quiz forms part of Tiger Beer’s Together We Roar 2026 Chinese New Year campaign, which centres on courage, progress and the collective spirit of moving forward together. “The WhatsApp quiz is our way of bringing Tiger’s Chinese New Year experience into everyday conversations,” said Julie Kuan, Marketing Manager of Tiger Beer Malaysia. “It’s simple, social, and designed to spark reflection and connection, values that are especially meaningful during the festive season.”
