The National Mosque, with the collaboration of Akademi Minda Bestari, is organising a parenting seminar, with the title “Helping Children Excel in Examinations”, on Dec 3.
It will be held in the main lecture hall at the mosque.
Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (Jakim), in a statement issued here today, said the day-long programme was aimed at providing guidelines to parents on how to improve their children’s intellectual abilities, identify their potentials, self-management and monitor their study schedule.
“Most parents today will work hard to ensure their children get what they (parents) could not get before to an extent that some forget that material needs, if not balanced with spiritual values can be damaging for their children’future,” it said.
