Johor Baru City Council’s megasale for parking tickets

Good news for Johor Bahru citizens!

The Johor Bahru City Council, or Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB), has announced June as the special discount month for getting a special compound rate on your unpaid parking tickets.

Those who make payment at the MBJB main office or e-nobas (payment portal) until 31 June will be entitled to the discount based on the year the ticket was issued. The rates are as follows. A ticket issued in:

a) 2011 will receive 80 percent discount on the compound rate;

b) 2010, 70 percent discount;

c) 2009, 60 percent discount;

d) 2008, 50 percent discount; and, so on.

This is a good deal for JB citizens who have been issued a ticket due to carelessness or a lack of public information.
