The Mr Cheesecake Singapore pop-up opens on 11 November at ION Orchard. Tokyoโs cult-favourite cheesecake brand will run it until 30 December.
Chef Koji Tamura founded the brand in 2018, and this is its first Singapore outing. The pop-up sits on Level 3 of ION Orchard, opposite Hermes. The mall is at 2 Orchard Turn, next to Orchard MRT.
Here is what it sells, what it costs and what we do not yet know.
The Mr Cheesecake Singapore flavours and prices

Overall, the pop-up offers cheesecakes that can be eaten frozen, partly thawed or fully thawed. Reports list five or six creations. As a result, the final menu may change.
According to Red Hot Singapore, the Basque Cheesecake Original starts from S$62. It uses browned butter, vanilla and brown sugar.
Then come the flavoured cakes. Cream Brew Coffee and Caramel Earl Grey are each S$68. The coffee is steeped overnight in fresh cream. The Earl Grey version uses mascarpone, vanilla-infused cream and orange juice.
At the top, Mr Cheesecake Matcha is S$69 and uses Yame matcha. A rich tiramisu flavour has also been named by two other reports, though its price has not been given. So the four listed cakes run from S$62 to S$69.
However, not every price is confirmed. Only one report lists them, so check the brandโs Singapore channels before you go.
Who is behind Mr Cheesecake

Koji Tamura started the brand as an online business, so the cakes sold out during pre-orders. He has said his mother could not follow his fine-dining dishes, which inspired a simpler product.
Before that, he trained in fine dining. Specifically, he spent six months at the three-Michelin-starred Mirazur in France. He then worked for over a year as head chef at the one-Michelin-starred Tirpse in Tokyo, which has closed.
Later, he opened the first permanent store at Tokyo Stationโs Gransta in 2024. Today the brand has five stores in Japan and one in Hong Kong. It says it has sold over one million cheesecakes in Japan.
In Singapore, Caravel Co operates the pop-up. The same company also brought Cheese Wonder, another Japanese cheesecake brand, to the city. So the team has done this before.
In short, a fine-dining chef is selling a simple cake, and Singapore is the next stop on its route.
What we do not know yet

For now, opening hours have not been confirmed. ION Orchardโs general hours are 10am to 10pm, but the pop-up may differ.
Meanwhile, no report gives purchase limits, pre-order rules or queue details. Pop-ups of this kind can draw lines, so arrive early if you can.
As far as reports say, there are no plans for a permanent Singapore store. Likewise, no outlet has been announced for Malaysia.
For readers in Johor Bahru, the pop-up is a short trip across the Causeway. It ends on 30 December, so the new rate will not apply yet. Drivers should note that the VEP fee rises to S$50 a day from 1 January 2027.
In short, the Mr Cheesecake Singapore pop-up is a seven-week window. Watch for confirmed hours and prices. Then plan your trip around the school holiday crowds.
