Mysterious accidents at quiet road junction

The road junction near Persiaran Jasa 1, Taman Mutiara Rini, here, has seen one too many mysterious accidents despite the low traffic of the roads leading to it.

A resident who lives nearby, Ibrahim Ali (who is not linked to Perkasa), told Komunitikini that there was a near-fatal accident involving a car and a motorcycle at the junction leading to Mutiara Hill just a few days ago. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries.

He added that he was puzzled why there are frequent accidents at this particular junction and hoped that the relevant authority will identify the causes and do the needful.

Ibrahim observed that many motorists do not observe the road traffic signs in the area. He also noted the faded road markings which are not visible at nightfall, and which may a contributory cause of the high accident rate there.

He advised all motorists heading towards Persiaran Jasa 1, Taman Mutiara Rini to be extra cautious when driving through the area.
