The Taiwan-Malaysia Classic Comic Character Illustration Competition 2021 is now open for entries.

Artists are invited to recreated their best versions of classic comic characters for the Taiwan-Malaysia Classic Comic Character Illustration Competition 2021.

The competition is open to artists from Malaysia and Taiwan and is jointly organized by the Malaysia Comicker Union, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, the Ministry of Culture of Taiwan and Taipei Comic Artist Labour Union.

The competition allows artists to showcase their creativity through recreating their beloved classic comic characters.

“We would love to see as many artists involved to use their creativity through recreating classic comic characters and turning them into unique creations more stunning than the original versions,” Malaysia Comicker Union president Lau Shaw Ming said.
