Sunway Pyramid celebrates its 25th birthday

Sunway Pyramid opened its door to the public in July 1997. Since then, it has grown leaps and bound.

Pyramid, as fondly known to Malaysians, boasts 4.3 million square feet of retail extravaganza in the heart of Bandar Sunway.

Sunway Pyramid, undoubtedly, is the flagship of the Sunway Malls.

Sunway Mall also owns Sunway Putra Mall, Sunway Velocity Mall, Sunway Big Box and Sunway Carnival Mall.

The majestic Egyptian architecture

Sunway Pyramid was the first themed shopping and entertainment mall designed in Egyptian revival architectural style.

The gigantic lion head which adorns the entrance has since become a landmark.

Besides that, the mall also features several Pharaoh statues and two domes, the Orange and Blue atrium, representing the Sun God Ra and the Great Nile river, respectively.

Meanwhile, Sunway Pyramid West boasts an area of 100,000 square feet with many family-friendly F&B, retail offerings and an all-in-one child enrichment centre

Sunway Pyramid 25th Silver Jubilee Giveaway

Sunway Malls is celebrating the 25th Silver Jubilee with an RM500,000 giveaway to thank all shoppers for their loyalty.

The competition started on July 22 and will end on August 14 2022.

Shoppers need to spend a minimum of RM150 in two receipts to be eligible for one spin and win a prize instantly.

You will receive a bonus if you are a member of Sunway Pals OR Citi Card.

If you are born in the month of July or the year 1997, you will be entitled to one extra spin.   Shoppers can only have a maximum of five spins per day.
