The Port Klang Marine Operations Force seized 110 boxes of firecrackers worth RM66,000 in a raid on a house in Kapar, Klang, last night.
Its commanding officer, DSP Norzaid Muhammad Said, told a news conference here today that after receiving a tip-off, a team of six marine policemen, led by Chief Inspector Sarebjit Singh, raided a double-storey terrace home in Taman Saga, Kapar at 9.20pm.
Norzaid said no arrests were made and that the firecrackers were found in aroom of the unkempt house.
“We are looking for the owner of the house to help with investigations,” he said.
