The highly anticipated MILO Malaysia Breakfast Day (MBD) 2023, the largest breakfast event in the country, made a triumphant return in the enchanting Land of the Hornbills.
With a mission to champion healthy breakfast habits and encourage an active lifestyle among Malaysians, MBD Sarawak received an overwhelming response from approximately 5,000 participants.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the participants demonstrated their unwavering commitment to fostering a health-conscious nation by braving a heavy downpour and gathering at Celebration Square Stadium Sarawak as early as 6am.
Embracing healthy breakfast habits with MILO
MILO, Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad‘s Business Executive Officer, Ng Su Yen, expressed delight at the return of MBD after the hiatus caused by the pandemic.
The event served as a platform for Malaysians to come together and appreciate the importance of a healthy and balanced breakfast.

Engaging activities and experiences
Participants from Kuching and various districts of Sarawak eagerly joined in the diverse range of activities and experiences offered at MBD Sarawak.
The highlight of the event was the MILO Goodness Workout session, a new addition to MBD, aimed at promoting physical fitness.
Attendees also had the opportunity to engage in other fitness activities, including Zumba, ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience for all.
Alongside the fitness activities, the event featured a variety of fun and educational games that raised awareness about healthy lifestyles, the nutritional benefits of MILO, and tips for staying active at home.
The vibrant atmosphere was further enhanced by captivating performances, including wushu and taekwondo demonstrations, a mesmerizing drum performance, and a unique cultural showcase called ‘Suk Binie,’ which blended traditional Dayak music with a contemporary twist.
Following the success of MBD Sarawak, the MILO Malaysia Breakfast Day 2023 will continue its journey, making its next stop in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on July 16. The event will conclude with two days of festivities in Putrajaya on July 29 and 30.
