The ongoing project, initiated in 2018, has already seen the opening of phases one and two on November 8, 2021. Phase 3 is set to interconnect all four phases, introducing a unique glass bridge over Sungai Moyan.

While the fourth phase, funded by the federal government, is underway, the fifth phase, focusing on works at Kampung Rantau Panjang, will be funded by the Sarawak government and implemented by the state Drainage and Irrigation Department.

The anticipated completion of Phase 3 before the Lunar New Year marks a significant step towards the fruition of the comprehensive Batu Kawa Riverbank Park project, offering diverse recreational opportunities for the community.
