Melaka is intensifying its efforts to establish itself as a prominent Muslim-friendly tourism destination.

The State Tourism, Heritage, Arts, and Culture Exco, Datuk Wira Abdul Razak Abdul Rahman, emphasised the significance of this campaign to bolster Malaysia’s standing in the religious tourism sub-sector.

The move is in response to the recent recognition by the Crescent Rating-Mastercard Global Muslim Tourism Index (GMTI) 2023 and Dinar Standard State of Global Islamic Economy (SGIE) 2022.
