25th April 2011. The Hainan Association Johor Bahru had a fellowship dinner and scholarships were given out to 100 students with good grades.
The Scholarship Selection Chairman, Mr Chong Puat Suan, a former principal of Foon Yew High School said that, “Even with the high standard set for the receipients of the scholarship, a hundred students were selected.”
