Jimmy Leow Beng HockGEORGE TOWN: The Star Education Fair 2011 at the Penang International Sports Arena (Pisa) received the thumbs up from thousands of visitors impressed with the choices on offer.
The one-stop exhibition, which ended yesterday, featured 252 booths by 120 exhibitors from various local and foreign institutions offering undergraduate, postgraduate, twinning, diploma, certificates and distance learning programmes.
The foreign institutions were from Britain, the US, Australia, Russia, Singapore, Indonesia, India and Switzerland. The event was attended by Penang Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng yesterday.
