The Malaysia Day eve celebration became an avenue where the indigenous people of East Malaysia displayed their cultural heritage in Kuala Lumpur recently.
However, the highlight was a speech given by Miku Loyang, one of the ‘Sape’ players of the day, who after giving a short introduction for himself- pointed out at many of the false promises made by the government in regards to the Bakun Dam project.
He also said that only half of the promised compensation has been paid to them.
