Four people were killed in a head-on collision between an express bus and a lorry at Km201 of the North-South Expressway near Kamunting, 120km north, early today.
The driver and attendant of the lorry and a passenger of the bus died on the spot while a one-year-old child died at the Taiping Hospital.
The bodies have been sent to the Parit Buntar Hospital.
The accident occurred at 12.30 am when the lorry was travelling north and the bus was going in the opposite direction.
Krian police chief Supt Mohd Fauzi Nayan, when contacted, confirmed the accident. He is expected to provide details at a news conference this afternoon.
