What a waste
The Kampung Solob hanging bridge is about 40 km from Sipitang town and cost RM60,000 to build according to the members of Kg Solob’s JKK.
The irony is that a similar hanging bridge built in Kg Sindumin about 30km apart only cost RM30,000.
Yet Sindumin bridge is superior in quality of materials used, as well as worksmanship.
The bridge was complete 5 months ago but no one dares to use it believing it to be unsafe.
