Pahang traffic administrative enforcement officer Assistant Superintendent Zainalabidin Othman said the police would also monitor traffic offenders.

He was speaking to reporters after a four-hour traffic operation at the Jalan Bukit Rangin-Jalan Kuantan stretch yesterday.

In the operation which began at 1am, the police issued 83 summonses for various traffic offences.
