The event was graced by Johor Bahru MP, Shahrir Samad and Stulang ADUN, Mok Check Hou.
A lot of booths were set up by NGOs such as the Breast Cancer Society, the Jeremiah Welfare Charity Society, the Jewel Chapter of Johor Bahru, Toastsmaster and some other clubs.
Goody bags were given upon registration, and lots of prizes and trophies were given out for the most meaningful peace message of the day.
Jokes were flying around and the participants were entertained with line dancing by the Breast Cancer Society and songs by singers.
The event was joinly organized by the Johor Bahru Happy and Joyous Club and the Johor Tourism Department.
However, it’s sad to note that not a single representative from the Johor Tourism Department was seen at the event.
