An Indonesian restaurant worker has been sentenced to a month in jail for shoplifting in a major shopping mall here in Taman Desa.

An Indonesian restaurant worker has been sentenced to a month in jail for shoplifting in a major shopping mall here in Taman Desa.

Siti Jamariah,22, pleaded guilty and was also fined RM2,000, after she was also found guilty of entering the country without a permit.

Both offences were committed on 30 January, 2011.
