ADMC launches blood donation drive to support National Blood Bank

The Covid-19 outbreak followed by the various phases of the movement control orders had caused a significant drop in the number of blood donors in recent months.

Ara Damansara Medical Centre (ADMC) will be holding a blood donation drive to appeal to the public to donate blood in support of the National Blood Bank.

The Covid-19 outbreak followed by the various phases of the movement control orders had caused a significant drop in the number of blood donors in recent months.

ADMC urges participants to help replenish the National Blood Bank’s blood supply to help those in need of blood during unprecedented times. Donors can head over to the hospital lobby on 14 July 2020 between 9.00am and 3.00pm.

To be eligible for blood donation, donors must have had at least eight hours sleep the night before, weigh more than 45kg, be in good health and not be on medication.
