Angang, who studied at Sunway University in Subang Jaya, is currently an international conference producer.

She is also an advocate of hippotherapy for autistic children. In the Beauty with Purpose challenge round Angang proposed to set up a hippotheraphy centre at the Bukit Padang Hospital in Kota Kinabalu.

“The progress of these children is easy to see in a short period of time if they were given a chance to have a sustainable program.

During the round, Angang told the judges that due to the distance its difficult for the hospital to provide the program.

“My end game for the project is simple but impactful. It is to create and also fund them. It is a simple project and achievable, that could shape the world of these children,” she said confidently.

In the final Q&A round, Angang’s question was, what is the most inconvenient truth about climate change?

Angang said that even though climate change is happening rapidly, we are not doing anything about it.

“When we step out of SICC, especially Sabahan, you can feel the heat wave we did not feel a few years ago.

“So I urge everyone to not only advocate and raise awareness about climate change but actually take action for it,” said the Sabahan.

Angang is not a newcomer in the beauty pageant scene as she represented Malaysia Miss Planet 2016 in Batumi City, Georgia. She was runner-up to Marina Voykova of Bulgaria.
