Malaysia is set to host one of the most highly anticipated events of the year – the Out of The World (OOTW) festival! Organized by Genesis Entertainment Sdn. Bhd, this unique event combines tourism, arts, culture, and entertainment under one roof, providing an immersive, fun, and cultural experience for festival-goers.

OOTW is set to take place from 26 May 2023 (Friday) to 28 May 2023 (Sunday) at the Sepang International Circuit and is expected to attract over 30,000 attendees.

OOTW will feature performances from both international and local artists, including Dolla, Han Xiaoo Aii, Je, Inquisitive, Jovynn, Alyshia, Vgene, Insomniacks, Nyk, Resort, Mardiana, Yves Y, Pixzy, Chukiess & Whackboii, Sherry Alyssa, Midnight Fusic, Lost Spaces, Claudia Tan, Ty:Del, Will Sparks, Nahsyk, Riesa Anne, and Rexx Fong.

Aside from the music performances, festival-goers can look forward to a myriad of activities, including a three-story inflatable water theme park, never-before-seen AI-projection mapping of water slides and pools, art installations, a food bazaar with various cuisines, an obstacle course, and much more.

The OOTW festival is a part of Genesis Entertainment’s initiative to bring fun to the world while catalyzing the local tourism industry with affordable and attractive theme parks that will draw visitors from around the world.

With the festival serving as a tourist attraction for foreigners and locals alike, it is expected to contribute to Malaysia’s national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by increasing tourism expenditures.

Senior Director (Domestic & Events) of Tourism Malaysia, Iskandar Mirza bin Mohd Yusof, said, “Initiatives like these are key to generating international demand for such events and driving tourism expenditures. I believe Malaysia has great potential in spearheading such hi-caliber events, and I look forward to seeing more of it in 2023.”

Early bird ticket prices

Tickets to the Out of The World water and music festival are available for purchase now, with early bird ticket packages including 1 Day Pass, 3 Day Pass, and Category options for Malaysian attendees.

Early bird ticket prices range from RM238 to RM5,868 and include limited edition costumes and water guns for the first 1,000 early bird purchasers. Normal ticket prices will range from RM338 to RM8,488 and are subject to change at any time.

Genesis Entertainment’s initiative is also poised to expand the employment market and create more jobs for Malaysians in the entertainment and tourism industry.
