Takaful Malaysia donates household appliances to 64 Asnaf students, aiming to improve their quality of life for the underprivileged students and their families

Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Berhad (Takaful Malaysia), demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by donating household appliances to 64 Asnaf students of Sekolah Kebangsaan Saujana Utama. The initiative aims to improve the quality of life for underprivileged and eligible Asnaf students and their families.

Siti Hajar Rizlan, Group Chief Marketing Officer of Takaful Malaysia, emphasized the company’s responsibility to support the underprivileged and needy within the community. “Donating household appliances to the Asnaf students or the tithe recipients and their families is a program we initiated to provide basic home appliances to those most affected and deserving.”

The company allocated a portion of its zakat to purchase selected household appliances such as rice cookers, stand fans, and stoves for the Asnaf students and their families, aiming to provide convenience and facilitate their daily tasks.
