Batik Air unveils a new chapter in its global expansion, introducing direct flights between Dubai and Kuala Lumpur starting from 11 November 2023.

This strategic move follows the successful launch of Batik Air’s route to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on 15 August 2023.

The Group Strategy Director of Batik Air and Lion Group, Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy, said that the expansion of Batik Air’s reach through the Dubai-Kuala Lumpur route aims to strengthen connections between ASEAN and Asia-Pacific markets with the Middle East.

Flight OD714 featuring 12 Business Class and 150 Economy Class seats departs from from Dubai at 4:05 a.m. every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, arrives in Kuala Lumpur at 3:35 p.m. (local time).

The return flight, OD713, operates on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, departing Kuala Lumpur at 11:05 p.m. and arriving in Dubai at 2:25 a.m. This new route is set to meet the growing demand for direct connectivity between the Middle East and Malaysia.
