SplashMania Waterpark receives prestigious award

Malaysia’s SplashMania Waterpark has rapidly gained global recognition since its recent opening, securing the esteemed Wave Review Award from the World Waterpark Association (WWA).

As the first Southeast Asian waterpark to achieve this honour, SplashMania has marked its presence on the international stage.

The waterpark received the “Best Waterpark Brochure” award at the 43rd Annual Wave Review Awards, held in New Orleans, USA, on October 26, 2023.

Making a splash with Wave Review Award

The World Waterpark Association’s annual Wave Review Awards celebrate marketing and promotional excellence within the industry worldwide.

Outshining 300 contenders globally, SplashMania clinched the award for “Best Waterpark Brochure.” Entries were evaluated based on criteria such as originality, creativity, innovation, and overall excellence.

The achievement reinforces their commitment to placing SplashMania on the international stage within months of its grand opening.

Thrilling experiences at SplashMania

Situated within Gamuda Cove, SplashMania spans 18 acres and offers a tropical ‘Where Nature Meets Fun’ setting.

Boasting 39 exhilarating slides and attractions, it introduces unique experiences like Atlantis VR, a Malaysian first combining virtual reality with actual waterslides.

Highlight rides include The Plunge, a high-speed flume plummeting visitors from six storeys high, and the Wild Rush, a high-speed enclosed body slide featuring back-to-back curves and 360° loops.

These rides, along with others, contribute to SplashMania’s reputation for heart-pounding thrills.

In addition to pulse-pounding attractions, SplashMania has hosted exhilarating events such as the Drip Drop Music Festival, Surf Battle Competition, and festive celebrations like Splashy Raya and Light Up The Sky Diwali.
