AirAsia reinforces Kota Kinabalu’s position as its second-largest hub in Malaysia by introducing a new route connecting Kota Kinabalu to Seoul (Incheon), South Korea.

Commencing operations on 4 March 2024 with daily frequencies, this strategic move enhances connectivity between the two destinations, catering to both leisure and business travellers.

The expansion adds to AirAsia Malaysia’s robust network, offering a total of 18 routes with 282 weekly flights to/from Kota Kinabalu from March 2024 onwards.

AirAsia Malaysia CEO, Riad Asmat, expressed excitement about being the first Malaysian airline to directly connect Kota Kinabalu to Seoul.
