Malaysia Airlines doubles Trivandrum-KL flights

Malaysia Airlines responds to the rising demand on its Trivandrum – Kuala Lumpur route by doubling its frequency starting 2 April 2024.

The decision follows the positive load factor performance and increased demand since the inaugural flight to Trivandrum in November 2023, which initially operated four flights weekly.

Frequency doubled on Trivandrum-KL route

In a strategic move, Malaysia Airlines announces the doubling of its frequency on the Trivandrum – Kuala Lumpur route, effective 2 April 2024.

This amplification aligns with the airline’s commitment to meeting escalating demands and strengthening its presence in India.

Notably, the recent increase in frequency between Amritsar and Kuala Lumpur from 15 January 2024 further underlines Malaysia Airlines’ strategic approach to cater to the growing market.

Dersenish Aresandiran, Chief Commercial Officer of Airlines from Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), emphasizes the significance of India in Malaysia Airlines’ global network.

With the addition of more frequencies to Trivandrum, the airline’s connectivity into India reaches 71 flights weekly.

Currently, Malaysia Airlines operates from nine major hubs in India, covering New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, and Trivandrum.

To mark the increase in flight frequencies, Malaysia Airlines introduces special promotional fares for Indian travellers.

These promotional fares offer Indian travellers an opportunity to explore Malaysia with enticing rates. Travelers can enjoy fares to Kuala Lumpur from Trivandrum starting from INR 12,999 all-in return or from Ahmedabad starting from INR 21,799 all-in return.

The promotional fares are available for purchase from now until 11 February 2024, for travel up to 12 May 2024.
