Inspired by the historic Pejabat Pos Bukit Rotan post office, the Curve’s ground floor transforms into a vibrant tapestry reminiscent of a traditional village.

From now until April 14th, 2024, the center court takes on the charm of a “kampong” with a dedicated Pos Malaysia service counter, retro shops, and a bustling Raya Bazaar.

Shoppers can even send Raya cards and treats to loved ones through the Pos Malaysia mailbox and courier services available on weekends.

The Curve extends its festive spirit beyond the mall, providing essential items, special Raya packets, and hosting Raya performances and an iftar session at Royale Chulan for Pusat Jagaan Kasih Harapan, a local orphanage in Kota Damansara. This initiative fosters a sense of community and camaraderie.

Jazmi Kamarudin, Chief Operations Officer of Boustead Properties Berhad, emphasizes the deeper meaning behind this year’s festivities.

Collaboration with Pos Malaysia and the Malaysia Book of Records allows the Curve to recreate cherished memories and strengthen community spirit.

Additionally, the Curve is committed to supporting local businesses through their Raya Bazaar, where many vendors have grown from humble kiosks to permanent tenants.

The Curve reviving tradition

The Curve seeks to revive the tradition of sending Raya greeting cards. Over 10,000 cards are displayed throughout the mall, encouraging shoppers and the community to participate in this honoured custom.

The impressive display has secured the mall a Malaysian Book of Records title for “The Most Extensive Display of Raya Greeting Cards at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara.”

In line with their sustainability efforts, the Curve will repurpose these cards for upcoming creative children’s workshops and art projects. This ensures the cards continue to spark joy beyond the mall walls and connect others in the spirit of Raya.

For a truly elevated experience, a special Raya Canister with Raya packets and gift bags is available with a minimum spend of RM450. Shoppers can even win exclusive Raya prizes worth RM2,000 for being the highest spender with a maximum of two receipts.
