LEGO School Challenge calls young Asian builders 

Calling all budding LEGO enthusiasts aged 7 to 17 across Asia! The LEGOLAND School Challenge 2024 kicks off on April 15th, inviting student teams to unleash their creativity and build fantastical worlds.

This year, the competition welcomes schools from China, Taiwan, India, Korea, and Japan to join their Southeast Asian counterparts for the first time.

The theme for 2024 is “World of Fantasy,” encouraging students to bring mythical creatures, magical castles, and epic adventures to life using LEGO bricks.

The competition fosters teamwork and collaboration as students work together to design and build their fantastical creations.

The LEGOLAND® School Challenge has ignited imaginations since 2022.

Past themes like “Pride of Your State” and “Future Cities” spurred mind-blowing creations, with a staggering 370 school group submissions pouring in in 2023, marking an impressive 80% increase from the previous year.

“We aim to build bridges between young builders from diverse backgrounds,” says CS Lim, Divisional Director at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort.

Schools across Asia can participate by forming teams of 4-8 students and registering online between April 15th and May 24th.
