In a bold move to advance women’s roles in the digital trade space, Nuren Group showcased its commitment at the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2024.
Held at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, the event featured a Pocket Talk session aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and community building for women.

In her keynote address, Bahria lauded the Motherhood SuperApp as a prime example of how digital platforms can connect mothers with services and products while also offering business opportunities for female gig workers.
“The government has played a pivotal role in advocating women’s empowerment in trade policies, with women exporters making up 40.4% of registered Malaysian exporters,” Bahria noted.
She emphasised that the government remains committed to facilitating global market access for women entrepreneurs through MATRADE’s international networks.
Nuren Group’s expansion into the Australian market, alongside its goal to train 10,000 women in digital trade over the next three years, aligns with MATRADE’s Women Exporters Development Programme.
These efforts are set to revolutionise the participation of Malaysian women in the global digital economy.
