The Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC) will organise a talk entitled “Crocodile Conservation: Human-Crocodile Co-Existence” to educate the public on crocodiles next month.

The Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC) will organise a talk entitled “Crocodile Conservation: Human-Crocodile Co-Existence”.

The SBC, in a statement today, said Sarawak Forestry Corporation, Protected Areas and Biodiversity Conservation Unit Senior Manager of Biodiversity Conservation Department, Oswald Braken will deliver the talk next month.

“Braken is responsible for conducting training on human-crocodile conflict and crocodile survey technique for the Sarawak Forestry staff and selected communities,” it said adding that he was also responsible for drawing up strategies for the protection of wildlife and their habitat in Sarawak.

The talk will be held on Oct 14, at 3pm at the SBC lecture theatre, KM20 Jalan Borneo Heights, Semengoh, here and it is free of charge.
