Prime Minister Najib Razak last night checked into Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) for a minor surgery on his left
knee today.
Najib who was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and children Nooryana Najwa and Norashman Razak arrived at HKL Royal Ward at 10pm.
He said the surgery will not take long to heal and that he is expected to start work three days later.
Reporters in Kedah were told on Thursday about the injury suffered by Najib when taking a penalty kick in a futsal game during Youth Day celebration in May.
