Boustead Properties says almost 100% of employees vaccinated

Almost 100% of all Boustead Properties employees have been vaccinated, and all its premises which are open to the public, including the sales galleries and the Curve shopping mall, are observing strict compliance with Phase 2 SOPs.

Boustead Properties Berhad announced that it had successfully vaccinated nearly 100% of its employees against Covid-19 as the economy reopens.

In a statement, the property developer said the vaccination drive was part of the company’s commitment to prioritize the safety and wellness of all its employees and the public as the country’s National Recovery Plan (NRP) progresses to the next phase.

“As a responsible organization, achieving close to 100% in employee vaccination rate is indeed a significant accomplishment for us, especially as Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya have entered into Phase Two of the NRP,” said Boustead Properties chief operating officer Eason Phan.

“Attaining a fully vaccinated workforce, especially in the property and leisure sectors, demonstrates our commitment to public safety, which is pivotal in the ongoing battle against the pandemic.

“To continue protecting our workforce as we return to normalcy, the company remains firmly committed to upholding other preventive measures, which include alternating work-from-home weeks, provision of face masks, shields, and sanitizers as well as Nano mist disinfection of the workplace,” he added.

“As our primary focus and responsibility are to ensure the safety of our customers, we urge all our business partners and tenants to be disciplined with the SOPs at the recently opened outlets, which include customers being required to show their digital vaccination certificates.

“Furthermore, since the onus is not solely on the customer to ensure safety, we are encouraging tenants to make certain that their workforce has either received their first vaccine dose or are fully vaccinated.

“With health experts agreeing that the Covid-19 virus will remain a part of our lives and become an endemic, all of us share the responsibility to be vigilant as we move forward,” he said.

The statement added that Boustead Properties has reopened its sales galleries with stringent safety measures in place. Viewing is strictly by appointment only with a limited number of people allowed at one time.

All staff on the premises are fully vaccinated with regular cleaning and sanitizing of frequently touched areas.
