More than 18,000 residents in Pasir Puteh are expected to experience disruption in water supply on Wednesday (Jan 11) due to maintenance work to be carried out at the Wakaf Bunut Water Treatment Plant.
Air Kelantan Sdn Bhd (AKSB) Customer Relations Executive Hazwan Hassan said among areas to be affected were Bandar Pasir Puteh, Sri Aman, Kampung Jelor, Kampung Kulim and Sungai Petai.
Hazwan in a statement said water disruption would start at 9pm on Wednesday and continue until 5am the next day.
He also advised residents in the affected areas to use water wisely and store additional water to cater for the affected period.
