Ber-CJ-ing is fun

June 6th, 2009 · No Comments

On Friday, I was ffk by some parties. FFK means being left in a lurch. FFK means fong fei kei or release aeroplane. Well, I have done all I can and if they prefer to rot, that’s not my concern or business anymore.

So, we have some time left and we went to the grave of Sir Francis Light. I had been there before but my partner hasn’t. Therefore, I played tour guide and brought him to search for Sir Francis Light’s grave.

The Protestant cemetery was so neglected and we CJs are going to bug the council to clear them up and give our Penang founder, Sir Francis Light more dignity. He cannot be lying in peace in a moss covered, messy grave like that!

Then, we head over to consult someone about something. It was a very revealing meeting and I am glad my fellow CJ has the chance to meet the person. It is good to expand our sights and see things wider than what it seems.

So, on Saturday morning, we went for an important, exclusive interview with someone. I am so honoured that the two of us get to hear from the horse’s mouth. I am so humbled and feel a bit guilty that I had wrong perception of the person all the time. Thank God I am now smarter.

I believe my fellow CJ too feel honoured to sit there with him and get to ask questions that no one dares to ask.

I got home, edit the video of the interview and went out for the High Chaparral drama. Initially, I was getting bored and very, very hungry. Then, the stench of dog poo assaulted my nose and I was getting edgy.

But things heated up at the end when CJ Jimmy Leow asked a question and got the people almost in a riot. It was hilarious. The kind where you want to LOL and slap forehead because it was humorous to see politicians getting whacked by the voters, reminding them about their election promises and so on.

So, that concludes two days of CJ activities. I have so many videos to edit, I don’t know where to start. But none of them are urgent so it is ok. The urgent one is completed and I can take the whole Sunday off, doing nothing. I hope.
