Celebrating Individuality exhibition showcases talent beyond barriers

The Celebrating Individuality exhibition at Greydea Studio showcases artworks by 16 differently-abled artists, promoting inclusion and creative expression.

A contemporary art exhibition featuring the works of 16 differently-abled artists has opened at Greydea Studio in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, offering visitors a glimpse into diverse creative perspectives while promoting greater inclusivity within the arts community.

Titled Celebrating Individuality, the exhibition runs from June 6 to June 14 and is organised by Selangor-based non-governmental organisation Gem & Bread Malaysia. The showcase brings together a collection of paintings, illustrations and mixed-media works that highlight personal experiences, emotions and observations through a range of artistic styles.

According to the organisers’ curatorial statement, the exhibition presents “a perspective that is unfiltered and honest”, encouraging visitors to engage with art beyond conventional definitions of ability and communication.
